Do Not Wash with Water
- These fabrics are delicate and prone to shrinking, color bleeding, and texture damage when exposed to water.
- Avoid both hand washing and machine washing under all circumstances.
Dry Clean Only
- Always opt for professional dry cleaning to maintain the color, structure, and finish of your garment.
- For zari, embroidery, sequins, beads, shimmer, or high-value pieces, use only reputed and experienced dry cleaners.
Special Note on Natural Fabrics
- Fabrics such as Cotton, Silk, Muslin, Linen, and Tussar may exhibit slight color bleeding, especially in dark shades or hand-dyed pieces.
- Take extra care during initial wears, and store separately from lighter garments.
Handling & Maintenance Tips
- Avoid perfumes, deodorants, or hair sprays coming in direct contact with the fabric—apply before dressing.
- Keep away from rough or abrasive surfaces to avoid snags, tears, or pilling.
- Never wring, twist, or scrub the garment.
Ironing
- Use low to medium heat only.
- Always iron inside out.
- Use a cotton pressing cloth or steam iron to avoid damage, shine, or burn marks.
Storage
- Do not hang heavy garments like silk, velvet, or zari work sarees for extended periods—fold and store flat instead.
- Wrap garments in muslin or acid-free tissue paper to allow airflow and protect against yellowing or stiffness.
- Avoid plastic covers or non-breathable packaging.
